“Should We Love Everyone?”

Message #16

(Note: Phil and his wife are such beautiful Souls and have so much to share that we asked them to start writing down some of their vast experiences so that others may learn from them… Enjoy!! Celest and David)

Love your enemy? I know the definition of the word. But looking back over my life, I don’t believe I have ever had a personal enemy according to the definition. Since I did spend almost four years in the military in the early 60’s I suppose I had some “enemies” who were perceived to be such by some folks much higher up in the chain of command than me. But none of these perceived “enemies” were my personal enemies. I was fortunate that at the time I was in the military, there was no war going on. The Cuban missile crisis happened as a part of the Cold War and the Viet Nam War started later in the decade. I performed my duties as I was told and I guess the higher ups were okay with the job I did because they let me out 43 days early with an honorable discharge.

So maybe the impact of “can you love everyone” really means that we are supposed to love all those we come in contact with or read about, even if we don’t care for the actions they perform or the philosophy that they adhere to. And even if they have done something to us that places us in a bad light or injures us somehow, either physically or mentally, we should not hate them.

I believe it is not so much about loving those people as it is about thinking positively about them, whether we like them or not. In other words, try not to think negatively about anyone or any situation. Due to the programming that comes from all sorts of paradigms we have been living in and have been subjected to for most of our lives, these sometimes are hard ones to accomplish. After all, the person wasn’t nice to you or the situation wasn’t a pleasant one to endure or the subject of the newscast was a terrible thing to have happened, so you think.

What happens when we go into this mindset? You (and I for sure) are thinking about the situation and we are generating negative thoughts and are unwittingly giving the situation a large measure of negative energy. More negativity is added to the Universe which gathers like thoughts and emotions and comes back like a boomerang to haunt us in the future. Do not think negative thoughts about anything. I believe this is one of the hardest things to do in life. But these are some of the things that all of us must start doing to re-train ourselves in our everyday life. It will not be easy and it will probably take the rest of our present incarnations to accomplish it, but we have to try. And since we already have had many thousands of reincarnations, maybe this time around we should really make an effort to get it right.

You think this discourse is stretching it? Somehow I don’t think so. I have written about how I believe each of us has the Power of Thought. And this power can be used for anything that you want the future of this world to be for you, for your future selves and for all of humanity. BUT, the wrong thoughts can also get us into trouble if we are not careful. And now we come back to the necessity for thinking positively about situations and about contact with people. Now we don’t have to think positively about every single idle thought. There is a big difference from thinking positively versus just observing the situation from an unattached state of mind and not getting emotionally involved in the situation. Watch some of the horrific stories on the evening newscasts but don’t spend emotional energy invested in the story.

The newscasts are probably something that the “powers that be” want to put forth to enhance the programming that the media has been doing to us for the last 100 years or so. Just view it but don’t give it any negative emotion. (My wife just read this paragraph and was surprised at my estimate of 100 years and thought that 100 years might be too long a period to describe the impact of the media in our lives. I reminded her that it was 100 years ago this year that Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were assassinated and this act was the catalyst that started WWI. The media assisted the U.S. Government in convincing the American public to support going to war.)

Now we need to think about the everyday occurrences that we come across every moment of our lives when dealing with persons or issues in the business world, in the classroom or in the home setting. Should we consciously program our lives to the nth degree? No, but whenever we do go off on a real bender of a negative thought process, we need to reign ourselves in and calm down. Will we be able to stop ourselves and change our thought process? I don’t know, but we will never know until we try it.

Now undisciplined thought can also give you some other issues to think about. Ever wonder what will be the cause for your end of life in this incarnation? Sort of a morbid thought huh? Many, many years ago I used to occasionally think about such things. Not so much of what the cause would be, but some thoughts about what I certainly wouldn’t want the cause to be. Some of the health issues that I wouldn’t want to happen would be to have cancer or to have heart disease. Guess what? Since I periodically gave these thoughts energy, they gathered similar thoughts out in the Universe and about 8 years ago came back and paid me a visit. I had to have five bypasses installed in my cardiac arteries and since then I have been dealing with follicular lymphoma.

Now would my thinking about such a situation be the cause for these diseases? No, I don’t think so because I believe that I wrote this health scenario into my pre-birth agreement. But it might have been somewhat of a catalyst to get the ball rolling. Either way it was something that I shouldn’t have done. I have known people who don’t talk about anything potentially negative in their lives. They believe thinking like that could ultimately bring what they don’t want to actually occur in the future. And I don’t think they are silly in thinking this way.

Now here is the overall message of this article. Don’t give any negative energy to situations in your lives that could impact your lives, those of your loved ones, or impact the Earth Star Planet in the future. Be aware of those types of issues that may come up in the future. Don’t worry about future calamities, but just be cognizant of the situation when it occurs so you can stop the negative thought and turn the thought pattern to a positive vent instead.

For example, when the newscast talks about a massive landslide in a Middle Eastern country don’t think negatively about what happened to all those innocent people. Just think that maybe it is very likely that these people had this event written into their life plans. And that Terra was using the event to rid herself of negativity in that particular area of the Earth Star Planet. Do I know this for a fact? No, I don’t. It is just that what I have read leads me to believe that Souls do put such caveats into their life plans for certain reasons only the Soul knows. And I also know from what I have read that Terra will be generating such events more frequently in the near future to eliminate the remaining negativity from her physical body. There can still be empathy felt for the unfortunate ones who perished, and the loved ones who were left behind, just don’t think negatively about who or what caused such a catastrophe to occur.

Now take the political arena. If we continue to harp negatively about how our government is running the show, we will continue to get more of the same in the future. Instead, why don’t we think about how we do want those governing us to perform their duties? Am I being naïve, particularly in the political paradigm we live in? Maybe somewhat, but if we use our Power of Thought to request a political environment where all elected leaders from local to regional to national government govern in the best interests of the people they govern, then that would be considerably better than harping on the negative activities of our present leaders. Replace a negative thought with a positive thought pattern.

Another area that sure could use some positive thought is the economy. And not just the U.S. economy, the whole world! Should we worry about how we are going to survive if everything goes to pot? How can we not worry? But you know what worry is don’t you. It is another form of fear and the energy fear generates is what the Children of the Lesser God thrive on. So what do we do? We use our Power of Thought to create a scenario of having enough where-with-all to survive the upcoming changes that will be coming down the pike. Is this a happy scenario? Nope, but it is what it is. Some will cope and some will not. But adding negative energy is certainly not the way to cope.

Remember the old saying, “This Too Shall Pass”? I used to think it applied to the present moment of what was occurring around us. Now I believe what it really means is, the current situation in this incarnation is what we agreed to and when our present incarnation ends for whatever reason, “this too shall pass” and we will go on to Nirvana and plan another incarnation. This present incarnation is just a part of the journey, so don’t worry about what comes “down the pike”, it is only a small part of the journey. So enjoy it or endure it. But think positive!

Until next time, Phil
